Children of Hyrule

Based on an rp between and myself, in which we have been using old LOZ plot points and giving them a new twist (such as Link's life with his uncle from A Link to the Past, and Zelda having a brother in Legend of Zelda II... so on and so forth). The first kid (who didn't turn out the way I'd hoped, he looks too wonky) is Prince Lambert (who I jokingly refer to as Prince Humperdink XD), the middle child is Link before his green tunic/cap wearing days, and the last is the Little Princess Zelda (whose design was based in part on the first red dress Zelda design). Lambert is 14 (like I said couldn't get him to look the way I wanted), Link is 10, and Zelda is 5. (There is another Zelda who traveled through time who is Link's age later on in the story, she's actually the adult Zelda from oot if the Hero failed)
Anyway in this story Link's mother was a Lady in waiting of the Queen (before her mysterious death), so he grew up in the castle with the royal children, and when he was only 10 years old he and his mother were led out to the lost woods and left there (the woods were known for it's monsters). Link managed to get away thanks to his "Uncle" (who I've named Rusl after Rusl in TP), (who just happens to hunt the monsters in the woods), but his mother does not survive her injuries. Link is then raised by his "Uncle" to hunt the monsters that terrorize the country side and comes to see the lost woods as his greatest ally. He then meets Princess Zelda from Oot who sealed herself and Ganondorf away after the hero was defeated. Prince Lambert grows up to be a total psychopath after the King's adviser "temporarily" takes control of the throne (after the king falls ill) and raises Lambert as though he were his own son. The little Princess grows weaker and weaker due to a childhood "illness" the same one that killed her mother. She grows into a strong willed, wise little lady with a queenly air about her who objects to her brother's cold calculated ways.
